Magnolia Studio Art Classes
Course Groups
Adult classes are for 18+ only, as classes are held at Forrester’s pub.
Kids Club classes are for children aged 5-9 years old, held at Burnie Park Community Centre.
Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be granted up to 7 days before the event. After this time, refunds are non-refundable.
If a participant is sick and cannot attend, notice must be supplied before the class has started and you will be granted a credit towards another class of the same value, dependant upon availability.
There are no refunds or credits given for missed classes.
If a class needs to be canceled as a result of a health directive issued by the NSW Government, we will reach out to every enrolled participant and make arrangements for either a replacement class, a credit, or a refund.
Magnolia Studio reserves the right to change and / or cancel advertised programming at any time. In this unlikely event, participants can choose between a refund or credit note.
Health & Safety
When enrolling your child in a class, please inform the school if your child has any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or special needs that could potentially impact their participation. Parents must supply adequate medicines & treatment plans if needed, and medicines must be labelled with the student’s name.
Students must be collected from their classes, and they cannot be allowed to leave unaccompanied unless there is a prior arrangement in writing in place.
All participants are asked not to join a class if they are unwell.
Magnolia Studio will make every effort to maintain a safe environment at all times. Nonetheless, there are instances when we may use materials that carry a risk of minor injuries (such as scissors, hot glue guns or paper cuts). Parents ultimately bear the responsibility of determining whether their child is sufficiently mature to participate in selected classes.
Marketing Material
Occasionally, we capture photographs of students and their artworks during classes. These images are utilised solely for Magnolia Studio’s promotional activities, including social media and website usage. Rest assured, we will never sell these photos, and they will be exclusively used by and for Magnolia Studio.
Your consent will be asked explicitly via a dropdown when purchasing a ticket online, and any ‘no’ answers will be respected.
Student Conduct
We expect all participants to respect fellow artists, artwork and property. Discrimination or harassment on any grounds will not be tolerated. Magnolia Studio has the right to suspend or remove students deemed to be exhibiting inappropriate or disruptive behaviour.
It should also be noted that cleaning of your art space is a shared responsibility at the end of class.
